Open Circuit Scoring System

How Open Circuit scoring works — the pipeline from joining to medals. Every active circuit publishes its exact ruleset on the circuit detail page; this is the general flow that applies across formats.

Scoring pipeline

  1. Step 1: Join a circuit. Pick an active open circuit from the list or create your own. Acceptance is required per circuit — once you join, matches start counting.
  2. Step 2: Play ranked matches. Every ranked PvP match you complete is automatically scored against the circuit's format filter. Only matches that match the filter (amiko, squad, element, combo) count.
  3. Step 3: Score by outcome. Wins earn base points, losses earn participation points, and draws split the difference. Current ruleset (v2.0) is displayed on the circuit detail page.
  4. Step 4: Placement bonuses apply. Scoring applies multipliers for streaks, close games, and specific achievements. The floating Help menu on the circuit page shows the exact ruleset.
  5. Step 5: Top 3 earn medals. At circuit end, the top 3 finishers earn placement medals. Categorical awards (longest win streak, most matches, etc.) recognize additional achievements.

Points, multipliers, and tiebreakers

The live scoring ruleset (v2.0) displays on every active circuit — open the floating Help menu on a circuit page to see the current base points, streak multipliers, and tiebreaker order. Rulesets can evolve across seasons, but an active circuit's ruleset is locked at join time so your score won't shift mid-circuit.
