Status effects are temporary modifiers applied during battle — damage over time, stat changes, control effects, and more. This reference covers every effect currently in Amiko Legends, grouped by category.

Elemental Resistance
Decreases damage taken from a specific element per stack. Can be permanent and uncleansable (e.g., Insulated passive: +5 Lightning Resistance).

Shadowbind
Prevents the opponent from swapping out their active amiko for the duration.
Shackle
Restricts the opponent's movement. Prevents swapping and interacts with abilities like Verdant Offering (bonus Lifesteal) and Power Nap (healing while Shackled).
Cloud
Disrupts the target's ability usage. Affected amiko cannot use certain abilities for the duration.

Description
Elemental Vulnerability
Increases damage taken from a specific element by 20% per stack, up to +100% at 5 stacks.
defensive
Term
Description
Absorb
Grants immunity to a specific element. Damage from the absorbed element is negated entirely. Can be permanent (Infinite duration).
Shield
Absorbs incoming damage up to a percentage of max HP. Destroyed when the shield HP is depleted or duration expires. Can be upgraded by certain abilities.
Dodge
Evades the next incoming hit entirely. Some dodges are limited to Melee or Ranged attacks. Successful dodges can trigger counter-attacks or buffs.
Reflect
Returns a percentage of the next hit's damage back to the attacker. The reflected damage is taken by the opponent.
Deflect
Ignores a percentage of the next hit's damage. The deflected portion simply vanishes (unlike Reflect, which returns it).
Ward
Prevents any new status effects from being applied to the warded target for the duration. Does not remove existing effects.
Undying
Survives a lethal hit with 1 HP. Triggers once, then the effect is consumed. Can be uncleansable (e.g., Znix passive).

Curse
After a set number of actions, deals percentage-based max HP damage. Additional curse applications increase damage by 50% but do not reset the countdown.
Poison
Deals 10% of max HP as damage at the end of every round, rounding up. Stacks do not increase damage but can refresh duration.

Deals percentage-based damage of max HP. Bypasses shields entirely.
Self Damage
The ability deals damage to the user as a cost or side effect.
Recoil Damage
Deals damage to the opponent but the user takes a percentage of the damage dealt.

Direct damage based on power value, stat differential, and element multiplier.

Heal
Restores a flat or percentage amount of max HP.
Healing Over Time
Restores HP each turn for the duration. Percentage is based on max HP.

Description
Ailment Shift
Swaps all active status effects between the user and the opponent. Buffs, debuffs, shields, curses — everything exchanges.
Cleanse All
Removes all status effects from the target. Can target self or opponent. Does not remove Uncleansable effects.
Cleanse Special
Removes a specific status effect from the target (e.g., cleanse Shield only).
Mana Generation
Generates Hype/Mana resource, which is spent to use higher-cost abilities.
